TVM Software. Founded 1995 in South Africa. One engine, three generations.
South Africa is home ground.
The engine started at Investec and Brait: lending, private banking, corporate cash management. From 2001 a major European bank has run its structured-finance book on it: syndicated lending, multi-currency, multi-calendar, structures and legal entities. In New Zealand and Australia it ran consumer lending and investment management for Instant Finance, UDC, Numeria Finance and Hopscotch. Earlier, at Target Group in the United Kingdom, its founder built consumer-finance systems for Abbey National, TSB and Chase Manhattan in Spain.
photo pendingJeremy began building financial-services software in the 1980s at UK-based Target Group, on a team developing a retail consumer-finance system. He went on to consult to banks and finance houses including Abbey National, TSB, Chase Manhattan in Spain and Investec, before relocating to South Africa in 1990 to join Investec as Group Software Manager and IT Manager in Private Banking.
In 1995 he co-founded TVM with Igor Music and built CreditPlus, launched in 1999 and first adopted by JSE-listed Brait for its retail and treasury operations. A major European bank came on board in 2001 to run a complex, high-value structured-finance book — and still runs on the software today. Through a TVM office in Auckland, CreditPlus went on to serve finance companies including Instant Finance, UDC, Numeria Finance and Hopscotch. Jeremy is based in Cape Town and travels regularly to the UK.
